And you thought Dark Souls 3 was hard
Whenever a game like Dark Souls 3 comes out, the driving point is always the fact that these are intended to be intentionally hard games. We’ve all probably seen countless videos of people failing horribly at the game and whining about how ridiculously hard it is. And we’re inclined to agree. It IS hard. VERY hard. We’ve tried our hand at some Dark Souls ourselves and we must say that excelling at the game is definitely no easy feat. Of course the feeling you get when you finally beat that boss after the quintillionth attempt is amazing. And you’re riding on that high till you encounter the next boss who takes a dump on you and tosses your sorry posterior aside like a toothpick, leaving you all broken and traumatised… err sorry, bad memories.
Anyway, coming back to the point, for this reason it’s understandably quite impressive when people show off their skill at games like Dark Souls and Bloodborne.
Take Twitch streamer FaraazKhan. Now this guy is so good at Dark Souls 3, he recently finished the entire game. Whaat? Pffft that’s easy anyone could do that. But can you do it without getting hit? At all? Even once? That’s right. Can you finish the entire game without being hit even once? He did. And in less than three hours. He smartly avoided most of the optional bosses but to his credit he stuck to a melee set up and did very little sniping from afar with magic or ranged weapons.
But that’s just one example. YouTube channel Celesterian Games are one among the Dark Soul elite who’ve completed the game using rather… unorthodox methods, for lack of a better word. If you’re wondering what it was that he managed to do, well he finished the entire game using only his feet. Yep, just his feet. We don’t know how you guys feel but we feel like complete noobs for sucking at this game as much as we do now.
YouTube is plagued with speedrun videos of all sorts. Some of them are legit, some of them employ glitches. Additionally there those who bump up the difficulty to max and handicap themselves in some way or the other to show off how skilled they are.
If you’re interested in seeing how exactly he beat the game with his feet, here’s the playlist.
