Latest leg of NVIDIA #GamersConnect held in Navi Mumbai at R4IDPLAY in Kharghar. Navi Mumbai is allegedly home to more high-end gaming cafes than Mumbai!
NVIDIA #GamersConnect which is the company’s ongoing outreach programme held its latest leg in Navi Mumbai at R4IDPLAY in Kharghar. One surprising thing we learnt about Navi Mumbai, sister city of Mumbai was that it is allegedly home to more gaming cafes running higher-end graphics cards than Mumbai. The event was attended by over 30 gamers with the folks from ASUS partnering with NVIDIA for this particular leg.
NVIDIA started off the session with the first half being all about NVIDIA’s offerings in the personal technology space before elaborating upon their other ventures. ASUS chimed in about their offerings targeting the gaming market before ending the session with a small Q and A session. The later half of the event had gamers experiencing Tom Clancy’s The Division on PCs powered by NVIDIA hardware.
We had a little chat with Ben Varghese and Kewal Krishna, Co-owners of the gaming cafe and we delighted to learn that the R4IDPLAY gaming cafe is just part of a much bigger eSports platform that they plan on unleashing on the Indian community in the coming months. Do stay tuned for more information on the project. Meanwhile, you can check out their Facebook pages (1, 2) for more information.
The next NVIDIA #GamersConnect event will be held in Guwahati on Saturday, 9th April.
Deep in the suburban jungle roams the only member of the mystical species, Barbarianicus Ass-kick-us. This super awesome creature carries with it the answers to none of life's mysteries. Then what on earth could be so awesome about him? Being able to binge-game for countless hours and exercise remarkable restraint over his penchant for sarcasm around members of lesser species are just some of qualities that make him likeable...really likeable. xD
