Initially released only on their website, Elite: Dangerous is now available on Steam for $59.99. The popular space simulator game that lets you explore and combat in an open world adventure setting, claims to have re-created the entire Milky Way galaxy to a 1:1 scale.
The creator of the game, Frontier Developments ensured in a statement sent to Eurogamer that there won’t be any functional differences between the two versions. Steam players will get the usual perks of automatic updates and patches through Steam, and also achievements and trading cards in Elite: Dangerous. Our very own Mad Zombie had reviewed the space sim earlier and given the amount of hours that he spent exploring the endless reaches of the Milky Way, he was able to compile an entire career guide on the five different career choices in the game.
