Insomniac Games have finally added the Sam Raimi suit from the original Spider-Man movies as a holiday gift to Spider-Man PS4.
A new suit just came to Spider-Man PS4. In a recent update for the PS4 game, Sony and Insomniac Games have included the suit from Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man movies(the original trilogy) in which Peter Parker and his alter-ego were played by Tobey Maguire. According to a tweet by Insomniac Games, the Raimi suit will be free for everyone who owns the game.
The Raimi suit was highly requested by many players through Twitter, so its release was a welcome surprise for many classic Spider-man fans who grew up with these movies and enjoyed them. James Stevenson the community director of Insomniac Games, however, addressed to frequent fan requests by the following tweet:
Just know things take a LONG time sometimes (months and months!) and even then go down to the literal wire.
We obviously never stopped listening.

Aside from the Raimi Suit there are more suits lined up to arrive this month as part of the game’s three-part City that never Sleeps DLC. Part one was “The Heist”, released in October which added Scarlet Spider 2, the Resilient suit, and the Spider-UK suit. Part two, which released in November included the Spider Armor MK1 suit, the Spider Clan suit, and the original Iron Spider Armor inspired by the comics. Part three, “Silver Lining” which will be the last release on December 21, will add the Cyborg Spider-Man suit, suit from Into the Spider-Verse and the Aaron Aikman Armor suit.
That being said, the Classic Raimi suit will be appreciated by the players who loved playing the old Spider-Man 2 game from 2004.
