NetherRealm, the studio behind Mortal Kombat and the more recent Injustice series of games have revealed that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles are coming to Injustice 2! They will be accompanied by the Enchantress and the Atom in the next DLC – Fighter Pack 3 – for Injustice 2. The game is set to release tomorrow, i.e., on November 14.
While the arrival of the Atom and the Enchantress was something that was expected by the masses, the announcement of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles was completely unexpected. But it’s safe to say that the people are psyched about it. Afterall, what’s not love about the pizza-loving amphibians from New York?

From the trailer, we can’t really tell if they will all be playable individually or if players will select and control just one of the four turtles while the others back him up. Past experiences have shown that NetherRealms does not do six playable characters in a single DLC pack, so it’s more likely that all four of them play together as a single character, even the trailer seems to hint at this.
Another interesting thing to note is that this the first time the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles have appeared in the fighting game since the early 90s, namely, a game called Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Tournament Fighters, which still has a decent following to this day.
All characters from the fighter packs and DLCs will be included in the Ultimate edition of Injustice 2.
