While we don’t know for sure whether Red Dead Redemption 2 will be making its way to PC, even if there may have been a mishap that suggested it might, what we do have now is a Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay trailer.
The gameplay trailer is about six-minutes long and featured a little bit of everything from exploration to combat. It also went into Arthur Morgan and the consequences of actions he takes in the game, hunting and trading.
Rockstar are calling the world a “living world”, saying that’s not just any open world, but open and a living thing in and off itself. It’s not the first time we’ve heard of the term Living World though, we’re talking about Guild Wars 2 here, and they executed it pretty well. If Red Dead Redemptions 2’s open world is anything like that, that it should definitely feel like a much deeper, open-world experience.
There’s a small glimpse of the slow-mo shooting ala the Dead Eye shooting system in the Red Dead Redemption 2 gameplay as well, but we’ll get more on that in future videos.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to release on October 26, 2018. For consoles only. So far.
