Nintendo E3 2017: Everything you need to know

June 15, 2017 — by Manish "Trigger-Happy" Rajesh0

One could say that Nintendo E3 2017 was easily the best of the lot. Then again, it’s all about perspective. They easily had some of the most exciting reveals E3 2017 had to offer.

Nintendo E3 2017

They’ve made an art-form of sorts out of their live shows. Let’s get into it.

Nintendo E3 2017: Rocket League on Switch, Pokemon RPG(?!), Metroid Prime 4 and more

Xenoblade Chronicles 2

The Xenoblade Chronicles 2 trailer was the only JRPG to make an appearance this E3. It’s expected to release sometime later this year.

Kirby 2018

Kirby’s coming to the Nintendo Switch next year. Even if you’re not a huge Kirby fan, from the looks of it you might enjoy this one anyway.

Game Freak Pokemon RPG

Yes, you read that right. A Pokemon RPG. But there’s no confirmed release date or anything, just the news that they’re making one. Still worth getting excited about.

Metroid Prime 4

This has been a long time coming, but that doesn’t mean we can’t get excited over it. No more info on the game as of right now, but we’ll be sure to find out more soon.

Yoshi for Switch

Yep, new Yoshi game for Switch. Yea we got nothing more. Looks good though. Really wish the Switch officially came to India already.

New DLC for Breath of the Wild

Nintendo’s hit game Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is getting new DLC soon, and it definitely has a lot of people excited. The Champions’ Ballad, one of the expansions planned for the game will be releasing for the game sometime later this year. Oh and all four champions have their own Amiibos.

Rocket League

Yes, Rocket League is finally coming to the Switch. So you should now be able to meet up and have local Rocket League lan party’s. Except nobody has a Switch here and we don’t have any friends. Jk on that last bit.

Super Mario Odyssey

Super Mario Odyssey is the other Switch game besides Legend of Zelda that people probably bought a Nintendo Switch for. It looks really good. Again, really wishing we had a Switch right now. Set for release October 17.

Metroid for the 3DS

A side-scrolling Metroid game is making its way to the 3DS as well. It’s been described as a “re-imagining” of the Gameboy’s Metroid II. It’s coming September 15.

Fire Emblem Warriors

A new story trailer for Fire Emblem Warriors.

That about covers everything from Nintendo E3 2017. All it did was leave us excited and really wishing we had a Switch.
Stay tuned for more from E3!
