The next Far Cry game will be Far Cry New Dawn

You guys remember Far Cry 5 right? Well, it looks like it’s getting a sequel of sorts in the form of Far Cry New Dawn.

Far Cry New Dawn

We don’t know if this is an expansion or maybe a standalone game even (leaning towards the latter, cuz full price baybee), but what we do know is that the events of the game are set 17 years after the ending of Far Cry 5. If you’ve played Far Cry 5, then you know what we’re talking about.

We got a good look at the game at the Game Awards, and what looks like the new villains(?) for the new game. They’re probably the leaders of the new highwaymen faction. Doggos are still in the game, and from the looks of it, there are now multiple breeds that you can team up with. There’s other wildlife you can team up with as well.

As it turns out, we see Joseph Seed at the end of the trailer too, so he’s probably going to play a big role. We’re also unsure of whether you’ll play as the same character or as a new one. But a lot of the gameplay elements look similar or identical to what we had in Far Cry 5. And of course, since the game is set in the exact same location, with a dash of overgrowth, it probably wasn’t too much work? The trailer also looks quite chaotic, the good or bad kind, well, we’ll have to wait to find out.

Far Cry New Dawn

Another post-apocalyptic game? This is Far Cry Fallout isn’t it? Fallout Far Cry? Whatever, let’s just hope it’s better than Fallout 76.
