People are using mice and keyboards in PUBG Mobile

PC gamers are dominating PUBG Mobile. No wait, let me rephrase that, mouse and keyboard players are dominating PUBG Mobile.

Unlike Fortnite, PlayerUknown’s Battlegrounds Mobile doesn’t support any kind of crossplay, however, that doesn’t mean players haven’t found a way to somehow use a mouse and keyboard and gain a massive advantage over mobile players.

As reported by Motherboard, PUBG Mobile players are using devices like Chromecast or emulators to pair bluetooth devices with their smartphone. The precision and accuracy you get simply by using a mouse and keyboard vs say a player who is using mobile controls is very clearly evident; to the point where it might even seem like hacking.

The most easy, and common, method is simply using Bluestacks, an Android emulator for PC. Using Bluestacks, one can simply assign the on-screen controls to keyboard keys and play the game as if you were playing the original, and not the mobile port.

PUBG Mobile was recently in the news for the use of bots, where a large number of players were reporting easy victories. However, with the influx of mouse and keyboard players on PUBG Mobile, they’ll soon report having a hard time winning at all.

Fortnite isn’t safe from this either, in addition to crossplay, it’s also possible to use mouse and keyboards on consoles to gain an edge over opponents using controllers.
