The IeSC Ground Zero event took place in Phoenix Market City from the 10th to the 12th of November and here's what happened on Day 2
We had the opportunity to partake in day 2 of the Ground Zero main event of the Indian eSports Championship, or IeSC for short and it was quite the exciting day.
The Ground Zero main event was set to take place in Phoenix Market city from the 10th to the 12th of November and we got there just in time to witness the last two matches of day 2. Brutality played in both of those matches and they were a sight to behold.
The first match we got to see was between Brutality and Entity Blue. The match was much closer than we’d expected, with Entity Blue having a huge lead after the first half of the match. However, Brutality was able to not only even the score, but come back and cinch the win in the second half of the game, showing us why they’re arguably the best CS:GO team in the country. This was also thanks in no small part to the captain, Ankit “V3nom” Panth who went from last place in the first half to top fragger in the second half.
The second match was between Brutality and Destructive 5, and while we were expecting a close match here, it was a one sided pub-stomp with Brutality easily taking the win with a sizable lead.
IeSC had a special casting booth prepared for casters to have their own cozy space to cast games in comfort. They even brought in caster ‘Stamination’ representing Drag2Death from abroad specially for the event. The casting was on point and ensured that the games remained entertaining.
There were booths around the venue as well with people playing CS:GO and DotA 2. There was an HTC Vive set up for people wanting to try out the VR experience. There was also a large puzzle at the venue where two teams had to compete to complete the puzzle first. It definitely looked like a lot of fun.
Soon after the matches a cosplay event was scheduled to start. We were already seeing the cosplayers come in while the last match of the day was about to conclude. Definitely an eventful day 2. Hopefully Day 3 and the grand finale will be even more of a blast.
