In their presentation at E3, Sony announced an all new Hitman game which is called just Hitman. Square Enix showcased only the main theme and story in their reveal trailer, not showing any gameplay or in-game footage. The new game will see Agent 47 coming back, working alongside an important character from Hitman: Absolution. IO Interactive will be revealing more about the game later this year.

Square Enix has promised that this game will have exclusive content for the PlayStation 4 that includes six new contracts and also a console-exclusive beta. The game will run on the Glacier 2 game engine that powered the previous title in the series. IO Interactive claims that the new game will pack extreme level of graphic details on the largest levels ever made in the series.
