The Ubisoft E3 2016 conference had no shortage of news regarding their latest upcoming titles, and boy are there many titles to go through. No new Assassin’s Creed titles coming anytime soon though, a much needed break perhaps? We finally get a look at some Watch Dogs 2 and Ghost Recon: Wildlands gameplay in addition to much more.
UBISOFT E3 2016 CONFERENCE HIGHLIGHTS
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands
We got to see some gameplay for Ghost Recon: Wildlands which is set to release sometime in March next year. We get a good look at some of the options you have in a four-man co-op takedown mission.
Watch Dogs 2
Ubisoft show off their new Watch Dogs 2 trailer – Hack Everything. We also get to see some gameplay and the various approaches a player has to complete a mission. They also announced that Watch Dogs 2 owners on the PS4 will get their DLC a full 30 days before anyone else.
Ubisoft also announced their plans about an open-world actions extreme sports game. In Steep you can switch between skis, snowboards, wingsuits and paragliders on the go with hundreds of activities to do, according to Ubisoft.
South Park: The Fractured But Whole
South Park creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker stopped by to talk about their newest South Park title, The Fractured But Whole, which will be coming out this December. They also mentioned that you’ll get The Stick of Truth for free if you pre-order. Didn’t Cartman say something about pre-ordering in The Stick of Truth?
We get our first look at some single-player gameplay in For Honor, alongside a Cinematic Story Campaign Trailer. We get to see some Vikings take on a Samurai fortress. Damn.
The Division Updates
We learn more about the new Underground Expansion for Division and a look at the new Survival DLC, which was teased with a trailer, where you have to survive as long as you can in a hostile environment in the middle of winter in Manhattan, without any supplies.
Just Dance 2017
Ubisoft’s Just Dance 2017 will be their first game for Nintendo’s NX, in addition to the PlayStation 4 and Xbox one of course.
Star Trek: Bridge Crew
Star Trek: Bridge Crew is set to arrive later this year and is a VR game where you play as the bridge crew.
Grow Up is the sequel to Ubisoft’s Grow Home, where you’ll once again play as Bud, the little red robot and help him reach the moon. The game is set to release this August.
Trials of the Blood Dragon
Ubisoft and RedLynx pay homage to retro with Trials of the Blood Dragon, a platformer game that is now available on all current gen consoles and PC.
Eagle Flight VR
Ubisoft have a new multiplayer VR game called Eagle Flight in the works and it’s looking pretty good, something for VR enthusiasts to be excited about.
Ubisoft turns 30
Incase you missed it, Ubisoft has announced that starting June, they’ll be giving away a free game every month this year. The occasion of course being their 30th anniversary. Happy 30th Ubisoft! We’ll take them free games, thanks.
