God of War 3, Days Gone, The Last Guardian, Horizon: Zero Dawn, Playstation VR, Resident Evil 7 among highlights of PlayStation E3 2016.

Sony’s PlayStation E3 2016 conference had a lot of titles to showcase and little time for extravagant presentations. They got right down to business with their lineup of games. Sony clearly have big plans for VR as can be seen from their presentation.

PlayStation E3 2016

God of War

God of War fans rejoice! Or don’t, whatever. Sony gave us a whole 10 minutes of gameplay on their new God of War title and it looks gorgeous. Is it a reboot? Is it a sequel? We don’t know.

Days Gone

Sony Bend’s newest game, Days Gone had a rather obscure debut trailer and all we got out of it was that most of humanity has been wiped out and there’s zombie-like creatures around now.. Hmm.

The Last Guardian

In addition to a new trailer for the Last Guardian, Sony have also confirmed a release date for The Last Guardian which will finally release this October after first being revealed in 2009.

Horizon: Zero Dawn

We get to see some more of Horizon: Zero Dawn and its gorgeous open world. The gameplay showcases some of the features in the game such as dialogue wheels, a crafting system, and robot mounts.

Detroit: Become Human

Detroit: Become Human gets a new trailer which focuses on a different lead character, so it looks like a game which could branch out in several ways with many possible outcomes.

PlayStation VR

Sony have finally confirmed a date for their PlayStation VR followed by a bunch of VR titles that are soon to come. PlayStation VR officially releases on October 13th.

Resident Evil 7

Sony had a lot to offer for VR enthusiasts out there and they started with Resident Evil VII: Biohazard. This VR experience looks like it might finally get the RE franchise back on its feet.

Farpoint is an another VR experience which was revealed by Sony with a promising but brief trailer. The game will be a first-person shooter on an unknown alien world.

Star Wars Battlefront

Looks like even Star Wars will be going down VR route as we took a look at the teaser trailer for Star Wars Battlefront X-Wing VR mission. So now you can fly X-Wings and experience it in VR. Sweet!

Batman in VR

You can now say “I’m Batman” and actually mean it. Rocksteady had a surprise in store for everyone when they announced their Batman Arkham VR game. We can’t wait.

Final Fantasy XV in VR

Sony had FFXV set up exclusively for PlayStation VR which let you play as the character Prompto from the game.

Crash Bandicoot Remastered

Everyone’s favorite bandicoot is making a comeback. Remastered versions of Crash Bandicoot 1, 2, and 3 and coming to PS4. Furthermore, Crash will also be making an appearance in Skylanders Imaginators.

Call of Duty

The remastered version of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare will be playable 30 days earlier for owners of PlayStation. Lucky them.

Death Standing

If you’ve been wondering what Hideo Kojima has been up to, well now you do. And it’s got Norman Reedus in it. Looks like Kojima took a page out of Bender’s book and made his own game with Reedus.

A new Spider-Man game

There was a surprise from Insomniac Games as well, who revealed a new Spider-Man game, exclusively for the PS4. From what we’ve seen it looks really good. The game will not be based on the upcoming Marvel film’s storyline.

If that wasn’t enough for you then you might as well watch the entire PlayStation E3 2016 video below.
