Bethesda E3 2016 conference was their second conference ever at E3 and they had some really exciting reveals. Here's a short summary.

Bethesda E3 2016 conference is their second ever and reveals to us info about some of their much anticipated titles and also gives us a glimpse at some of their planned expansions and their new take on the Quake franchise. News and details about Dishonored 2 and The Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises took the spotlight.

Quake Champions

The Quake Champions cinematic trailer had us all very excited and reminiscing of our old Quake 3 days. Bethesda started off their press conference with the trailer and as y’all know we’re big time Quake 3 fans here. While it maintains it’s arena-style first-person shooter combat, it looks like there’ll be unique characters and abilities as well.

Elder Scrolls Legends

An Elder Scrolls card game was also revealed by Bethesda, called Elder Scrolls Legends. In the trailer we see a Moth Priest, Kellen telling the tale of some forgotten hero.

Fallout 4 DLC

Three new DLCs for Fallout 4 were announced – Contraptions, Vault Tech Workshop, and Nuka World. The first of the three, Contraptions will be out sometime next week. An update for Fallout Shelter was also announced.

Elder Scrolls V Special Edition

The Elder Scrolls V Special Edition is a remastered version of Skyrim for PS4, Xbox one and PC. This will allow console versions of the game to be modded as well. Additionally, owners of the game on PC who have all the DLCs, or the Legendary Edition of the game, will get the Special Edition for free.

Prey

Prey will finally be getting a sequel, despite originally being revealed back in 2011, it never actually released. Bethesda debuted a new reveal trailer for Prey at the conference.

Doom DLC

Unto the Evil, the first DLC for Doom was revealed, which will feature three new multiplayer maps – Offering, Cataclysm, and Ritual. Also, the first level of the game will be available to play for free throughout the week, for those who are interested in the game but haven’t made the purchase yet.

Elder Scrolls Online: Dark Brotherhood DLC

The Elder Scrolls Online universe is expanding with their new Dark Brotherhood DLC. It’s also expanding internationally, coming to Japan starting June 23rd. Additionally One Tamriel was also announced, and is set for release this fall which features automatic level scaling for characters so they can “freely group with anyone they want”.

Doom and Fallout 4 VR

Bethesda have been working on two virtual reality projects – Doom and Fallout 4, which were playable in VR at the event. They’ve even planned for a Fallout 4 VR release on the HTC Vive sometime in 2017.

Dishonored 2

And finally, we get an extended look at Dishonored 2. We get a good look at the landscapes of Karnaca where most of the game is set to take place, but the game will feature portions of Dunwall as well. We also get a better look at Emily Kaldwins abilities, who will be a playable character alongside Corvo Attano.
