Bethesda might be working on a Game of Thrones game

If you haven’t already watched the season finale of Game of Thrones season 7, you should just drop everything you’re doing right now and do that. Go on. We’ll wait. Done? Ok, so it looks like Bethesda might be making something Game of Thrones related. We say something GoT related because we don’t know for sure if it’s a game. But if it is, we can see no better company to take it up.

What is Bethesda?

Really? The Elder Scrolls? Fallout? All those RPG masterpieces, all Bethesda. If they made a Game of Thrones game, we don’t know how many people will wet themselves.

The news was spotted by a user on the NeoGAF forums in the form of an unfinished web page on Target’s website. The website itself has little to no info on it. Just a header which reads “Bethesda: Game of Thrones”. Again, pointing out that there was nothing that stated it was a video game. So it could be anything really, maybe a board game even?

In an interview with IGN, Todd Howard had said that Bethesda Game Studios had seven projects that they were working on. Of those seven, we know of two, which was Fallout 4 VR and Skyrim for the Switch. He didn’t reveal anything about the other five projects. Could one of those be the Game of Thrones game? We’ll just have to wait and see.

We already have a few Game of Thrones related games out there, but with Bethesda in the game, we can expect an RPG game.
