EA recently announced that there will be a Battlefield 5 open beta which will begin on September on 6. If you are an Origin Access subscriber of the basic or premier tier, or if you happen to have pre-ordered the game, then you’ll have access to the open beta a few days in advance. You can begin pre-loading the game at 1:30 PM IST on September 3.
In the Battlefield 5 open beta, players will have access to Conquest mode on the Rotterdam and Arctic Fjord maps, a street battle in Holland, and the Grand Operations mode in the Arctic Fjord map again. Grand Operations is a mode which involves a combination of multiple attack and defend stages, like an amalgamation of different game modes of sorts.
Battlefied 5 isn’t doing too hot. Recent reports have pointed out that pre-orders for the game as compared to previous Battlefield titles is 85 percent lower. Now in our eyes, that’s actually a win. Fewer pre-orders and all that. But you never know, open betas are free to play, no harm in giving it a try. The game might still be good, despite its inaccuracies.
Battlefield 5 releases worldwide on October 19.
