Winter Fugitives Review

February 19, 2016 — by Anusha "Trillian" Sinha0

Winter Fugitives is a delightful stealth endless runner which has you breaking out of prison and making your escape across a snowy path fraught with guards on the lookout and other manner of perils. The aim is to avoid the guards, chasms and breaks in the ice for as long as possible. There are numerous playable characters that can be unlocked as you cross certain milestones. These come with a wide range of abilities and sinister backstories. There is also a story mode in which you can uncover the secret of ‘a prison break that seems a little too perfect’.

Winter Fugitives

Winter fugitives is a frenetically paced experience which will have you constantly figuring out the best way to move forward. In the beginning, the guards seem like only a minor inconvenience but they increase in number and their detection range goes up too. The game features interesting mechanics such as bribing the guards and discovering shortcuts. The animation may be a little clunky but this game makes for a very pleasant change from the usual endless runners as you actually have to think a little when playing this one.
