Star Wars: Uprising Review

January 21, 2016 — by Anusha "Trillian" Sinha0

Star Wars: Uprising is set shortly after the events of Episode VI: Return of the Jedi. It depicts the aftermath of the Battle of Endor. With Darth Sidious and Darth Vader dead, the Galactic Empire clamps down on the Anoat sector. You assume the role of a member of a rogue band of resistance fighters that form the uprising. You start off as a young smuggler carrying a shipment of explosive crystals for Happy Dapp, a notorious gangster. You can fully customize your character, straight from the race to the skin colour to the arch of her brows. You could choose a race of your liking.

Star Wars: Uprising

The game is an RPG and you can play alongside friends to defeat the Empire together. The single mode gets slightly repetitive. However, the clan interaction makes up for it. You can collect gear to upgrade your crew. The usual market system exists, with various classes of equipment available to be bought for ability enhancement.

One downside is the size of Star Wars: Uprising, (1.5 GB, to state numbers) which causes the game to be laggy and even crash frequently on some older devices. The game has crisp, polished graphics with highly detailed environments. If you call yourself a Jedi, play this game, you must.
