A downhill experience
Downhill Extreme is the perfect example of a game developer who was more concerned about monetizing his game than he was of making a good game. This is a game that requires you to race skateboards down a hill, but there’s no learning curve, no real skill involved and no real tension or challenge. As mentioned earlier, the one place where some thought has been put in is the monetization. You watch videos (ads) to participate in races, spend gold on boards, wheels, etc. This game could have been so much better if only the core mechanics had been properly tweaked.
Mad "r4gs" Zombie
Deposited on this planet sometime in the late 1980s, this being was quick to discover the joys of binge-gaming and has long since mastered the art of the 16-hour game session, and evolved to survive on a minimum of food.
