Carnage has never been this fun
Ever had the oddly specific urge to crush someone riding a tank using nothing but a banana shaped car? Now you can. Drive Ahead is a rare gem; a local multiplayer game played on the same screen. The aim is to smash your opponent’s tiny helmeted head while riding one of the oddities from an absurd range of vehicles. Each vehicle has its own set of quirks. For example, there is a coffin inside the hearse that you can drop on your opponent’s head. There is variety in the arenas too, with some sporting spinning blades or water bodies.
While playing against the computer is good enough, the real fun starts when you battle it out against a loved (or soon detested) one. You’ll find yourself laughing maniacally as you destroy your opponent and establish your dominance. The game is updated on a pleasantly frequent basis with new arenas and cars. The charm of this game lies in its deceptively simple gameplay and highly stylised pixelated graphics. So go grab an unwilling sibling, friend, or spouse and drive ahead!
